In 2019, we had a turnover of 36.5MM in Spain and we are aiming for 52.5MM in 2020
At group level, Logisfashion had 50 million euros in turnover in 2019 and the goal for 2020 is 65MM euros.
Logisfashion Spain finished the 2019 financial year with a turnover of 36,500,000 euros, meaning that one year earlier than anticipated, it reached the expected turnover goal for 2020. This means it has grown by 44% in 2019.
This growth is supported by two important factors. First, new customers were introduced mid-2019, consolidated and large-scale brands in the fashion sector, with varying logistics operations (reverse logistics, e-commerce, value-added services).
Second, we opened three new state-of-the-art centres which are clearly committed to sustainability, as they are certified under LEED Silver and LEED Gold. These centres add up to 136,000 m2 in operating surface area. The investment made on them, in the areas of infrastructure and technology alone, reaches 8,000,000 euros.
Looking to 2020, Logisfashion Spain has set itself the ambitious goal of increasing its turnover by 45%, striving to reach €52,500,000 overall.
Internationally, Logisfashion finished off 2019 with a turnover of 50 million euros. The goal of the group for 2020 is to have a turnover of 65 million euros.
2020, a year of challenges
For Logisfashion, 2020 is going to be a very challenging year. As a global logistics operator, the company is prepared to face the challenges posed by e-commerce development. Logisfashion will pay close attention to its operations in Latin America, where it will focus the majority of its investment and efforts throughout 2020, in order to boost growth in the region, while at the same time consolidating its presence in Spain.
“The year 2020 is going to be very challenging for the logistics sector,” says Juan Manzanedo, Logisfashion CEO. “The development of e-commerce in LATAM opens up a wide range of possibilities for Logisfashion throughout that region. We will be providing our know-how where our customers need us, so that they may reach their goals.”
