Our strategic hub in Panama increases with the purchase of Supreme Overseas

At Logisfashion, we are delighted to announce the acquisition agreement of the logistics services company 3PL Supreme Overseas, an operation that has been around 4 million dollars (about 3.5 million euros) and which reinforces our competitiveness and international leadership, making Logisfashion Panama the epicentre of the group’s cross-border e-commerce. This integration is a decisive step in the development of our strategic plan, which entails exceeding 85 million euros as a turnover this year, which represents an increase of 37% compared to 2020. The goal is to reach a turnover of 150 million euros by 2023.

    This Latin American country, thanks to its key geographical position, has become an important strategic axis for logistics connectivity in Latin America, as well as a centre of global trade with important links to the United States and Europe. The economic growth, financial soundness, legal guarantees and stability of the country facilitate international trade and investment.

    As explained by our CEO, Juan Manzanedo, “This acquisition is focused on generating value for our clients, as it will help us enhance our end-to-end value proposal with local expertise in the forwarding and customs services of Supreme Overseas, in addition to our technology and experience mainly in ecommerce. In this way, we can advise and optimise the processes of our clients in their needs of expansion and internationalization.

    Thanks to this great step in Panama, Logisfashion is consolidated as one of the international logistics leaders in fashion, lifestyle and e-commerce due to its competitiveness, capacity and reach both in Latin America and worldwide. In fact, Manzanedo highlights that “we are forming a great global infrastructure that, in addition to growth, provides us with structure and resources that represent a qualitative leap in facilities, equipment and services, since both organisations have very complementary experiences”.

    With this alliance, we strengthen our structure with 4 distribution centres located in the strategic areas of Pacific Panama, Colon Free Trade Zone and Tocumen International Airport. This in addition to incorporating our own transport fleet, which will enhance our “last mile” distribution services.

    In this way, we strengthen our offer with a comprehensive commitment to services that starts with quality control and consolidation of goods in Asia, forwarding and customs management, storage, handling and retrofitting services, logistics for both retail and e-commerce, value-added and free trade zone services, up to the distribution to the final customer.
