We collaborate with Aprenem Autisme on the Awareness Campaign #ConnectatAlBlau #AprenemCadaDia

Aprenem Logisfashion

At Logisfashion, we join the #ConnectatAlBlau #AprenemCadaDia awareness campaign led by Aprenem Autisme, the purpose of which is to raise awareness on the needs and specificities of people with autism, as well as dispel myths and stereotypes that still pose real barriers to their full inclusion.

Lidia García, president of Aprenem Autisme, says that “although in recent years we can say that we have made progress in understanding autism spectrum disorder, the current health crisis has highlighted situations of stigmatisation and discrimination of these people’s rights”.

To that end, Logisfashion joins the fundraiser that the association is leading to guarantee specialised resources and services for people with autism and their families, which allow them to continue defending their rights.

“Autism affects a person’s entire lifetime and sufficient, specific and specialised resources, services and supports that respond to the needs of different stages of their life cycle must be ensured, so that they can have a dignified life”, adds the president of Aprenem Autisme.

Thus, Juan Manzanedo, CEO and managing director of Logisfashion, states that “we at Logisfashion believe it is a cause worth committing to and collaborating with, especially after the impact that confinement has had on people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, as there have been cases of stigmatisation and discrimination of their rights during this time. We want to do our bit to raise awareness in our citizens and support the social, educational and labour inclusion of people with autism”.

Support for this campaign and our donation to this project are included in our global corporate social responsibility objectives, where we launch support programmes for different groups in the communities where we operate. These include the Yunquera Project, which promotes the improvement of the well-being and quality of life of cancer patients. This initiative arose from four citizens of Yunquera de Henares who suffered from the disease and its aftermath, and is supported by the Spanish Association against Cancer (AECC) and Obra Social La Caixa, among other entities.
